City Winery Philadelphia presents ‘Mister Mann Presents…Pastor Waller’s 60th Birthday Jam Session’ live on April 9th at 6pm

Count it all JOY Philadelphia! One of the city’s most beloved leaders is hitting the City Winery stage on Tuesday April 9, 2024 for two highly entertaining jazz and gospel infused sets.

Dr. Alyn E. Waller, the internationally renowned Senior Pastor of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, is a singing pastor who has gained a reputation for his passion for live instrumentation and vocals.

As a man of God and immense lover of the arts he occasionally steps away from the pulpit to share his gifts with the community. For three decades he has delivered legendary sermons in Philadelphia while also keeping music in the forefront of his celebrated ministry.

The sounds for this Spring jam session will be provided by ‘Mister Mann’s Jam Band’, a collective of immensely talented musicians who have entertained and inspired Philly audiences for more than a decade.

The icing on the cake of this milestone birthday celebration is that he will be donating the proceeds to two Philadelphia organizations that are pouring into the lives of young people.

The Achievers Brunch Association celebrates and supports young Black men from Philadelphia high schools who are currently matriculating on campuses throughout the country. The organization is run by event host/curator Mister Mann Frisby and world renowned magician Randy Shine.

The Quinn Center for Performing Arts nurtures and develops the artistic talents of students from 2-18 years old in the Philadelphia area. The studio, which is led by Eryka Waller, prepares its participants for competitions while also building self esteem, confidence and teaching the importance of teamwork.
