Hailing from New York City, Allie Dunn believed her path was initially to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a doctor. She was at college learning biology but in her sophomore year, she took a leap of faith to pursue her musical dreams.

Dunn has always drawn inspiration from various different avenues such as the Laurel Canyon classic folk pop singer songwriters she has admired her whole life, from discovering the Eagles via her parents record collection in her teenage bedroom to listening to her records over and over in her dorm room in New York City, finding the courage to make the leap into being a full time musician and leave a potential fulfilling a stable career option behind.

With her EP Good As Gone under her belt, Dunn is approaching a new era of "retro pop" music starting with her latest single “Old Soul”

Wandering Bird is a DC band that delivers evocative rock in a blend of ballads and bangers, rich with raw performances and powerful lyrics. They released the self-titled Wandering Bird EP in May 2023 and like nothing more than making people feel things, both with their writing and their live performances.
